Van Nuys was founded in 1911 and sits in the San Fernando Valley in the Los Angeles County. Van Nuys was the first new stop on the San Fernando Line of the Pacific Electric Railway red cars system, which boosted its early land sales and commercial success. In its early days the surrounding area was orange groves, farms and factories that lined the valley in its early days. Now boosting a vibrant and multi-culture community teaming with life from studios, factories, businesses and homes. Fun side note; many famous musicians have their studios in the old factories that dot the area and Anheuser Busch brewery.
