I ventured into this used bookstore just a few months ago with my nephew visiting from Australia.  As a L.A. Native I was surprised I have never been here before, although I have been hearing about it for some time now.  First let us just discuss the creative aspect of this place, wow how cool!  See images below they speak for themselves.

There are two floors, the upper lever consists of artist studios and old books you may have heard of and many you never knew existed.  The upper floor looks over the main part of the bookstore where many of the more recently published books are out on display.  I think we spent just as much time having fun checking out the artistic details of the store as we did perusing some books from the more unusual to the more commercial.  Many of the books are used and the deals are, well deals.

This place is highly recommended whether you are a book love or not!  Oh darn I almost forgot to mention the vinyl records ready for you to take home.  Not sure of a book, grab a seat on one of the many comfy chairs and get flipping.

Want to online purchase you can do that as well.  Happy hunting!
