Big Bear is located in San Bernandino Mountains just a two-hour drive from Los Angeles. The main attraction is Big Bear Lake. In the winter the area is known for skiing and snowboarding. During spring and summer, it becomes a place of great adventures providing kayaking, boating, hiking, and swimming. The village is packed full of great shops and resturants. There is an abundance of hotels, cabins and campgrounds to make your visit more than one day.
