Altadena is a unincorporated small town just north of Pasadena. It sits at the foot of the San Gabriel mountains where you can find many hiking opportunities as well as camping get aways. Although Pasadena gets the bulk of the travelers and business, Altadena is a nice place to visit if you want to get out of the busy area of its neighbor.
