Join us for a beautiful early morning hike to the MASH site in Malibu Creek State Park. This event is back by popular demand and we are overjoyed to have Rhonda Clure back for this inspirational experience. Park in the main lot nearest the bathrooms. We will meet outside the restrooms at 8:15 and set off at 8:30. We will be prompt on our departure. See the gold star on the map for location. 🙂
This hike will be led by Anna of AdventurousBug and Rhonda of Divine Sage Collective who will be leading us in a guided meditation and breathwork exercise under the canopy at the MASH site. We will talk about how grounding can bring your mind and body into balance for overall health and well-being. Feel free to bring a journal if you like, but not required.

Previous to being opened to the public in 1976, the park was used extensively to film numerous movies and TV shows, such as Planet of the Apes and M*A*S*H. Most of the park’s land holdings were acquired from 20th Century Fox, which purchased the former Crags Country Club for on-location film and television filming. The original Planet of the Apes movie and the beloved M*A*S*H TV show were among dozens or perhaps hundreds of productions filmed here continuing to this day. Hiking in Los Angeles is so close and once in the Santa Monica Mountains, you will feel far from the city.
Sorry, we all like Fido but no dogs are allowed. Services Dogs are an exception.

The park is located four miles south of Highway 101 on Las Virgenes/Malibu Canyon Road.
1925 Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas, CA 91302
Driving Directions:
- From the 101 exit on Las Virgenes Road.
- Go south on Las Virgenes Road (toward the ocean)
- Continue straight.
- Park entrance will be on the right, a little past the Mullholland Drive intersection.
Parking fees:
- All day – $12.00 per car, per day
- 3 hrs – $9.00 per car
- 2 hrs – $6.00 per car
- 1 hr – $3.00 per car
