Now is the time to head on down to explore Downtown Los Angeles!
The ending time of this event is "open ended". Meaning you leave when ever you are ready, pooped out, your dogs are tired - or all three.
The downtown area is seeing a resurgence of activities. This is a walking exploration of the City of Angels.
Meeting options:
- 11:00am North Hollywood Subway Station be outside under the 'beautifully painted' three arches at the top of the escalators. We will wait for you until 11:15. Parking is $3.00.
- 12:00pm Grand Central Market, the Broadway entrance. We will only wait 15 minutes. There are local parking lots in the area to park, rates vary.

The day: We will meet at the Grand Central Market for nourishment. If you haven't eaten here, trust me you will find more choices than you can image! After, we hit the pavement. Which means comfortable shoes and water. From here we will go down Broadway, Theatre District, Fashion District, Santee Alley, ride Angels Flight then head toward Olvera Street and Chinatown. We will be doing a lot of walking and some subway riding.
If you stay into the evening we may hit Clifton's. This has yet to be decided, or we will hold it for and evening in downtown event.
